Antaimoro Paper is rice paper where natural flowers are carefully pressed into the wet paper. It is a multi step process and an art which was previously only known in France. This art was brought to Madagascar and is now a traditional Malagasy art. The people of Madagascar, the “Malagasy”, have a love of all things fine, delicate and beautiful. They take pride in the making of Antaimoro paper. This seemingly delicate paper in actuality is quite sturdy. It renders itself useful in a varity of ways.
