Our
Madagascar raphia collection: Genuine
raphia is hand woven from natural leaf fibres of an African Palm raphia
ruffia, grown in Madagascar. Raphia
is very important to the lively hood of the people of Madagascar. It is
part of their traditional way of life. From the fibres they weave many
different products such as colourful baskets, place mats, hats and beach
mats. |
Working
directly with the artists we have also created a unique line of such
raphia products such as colourful boxes with matching covers and photo
frames. And for the business person we have a full line of office
accessories such as desk pad, pen holder and message boxes and document
portfolios. We
